MEET COACHÂ LUELLEN
Educator & Sports Coach
Coach Caribbean Luellen is a well respected Teacher and Coach. Drawing on her thorough academic training and diverse experience in education, she is a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher. Her goal is to present physical activities in a positive and professional manner, as to maximize the self-esteem and the self-confidence of all students. In addition to teaching PE coach works with eighth graders in a college readiness course which also prepares students for high school. When not at school, Coach Luellen loves to play basketball, ride her bike through downtown Houston, and travel.
ABOUT COACHÂ CARIBBEAN LUELLEN
From a young age, Coach Luellen wanted to be an educator and it’s a decision she has never regretted. While attending Oklahoma Baptist University on a basketball and academic scholarship she suffered an injury that caused her to return home to Houston, T.X. where she finished out her degree in Interdisciplinary studies at the University of Houston-Downtown. As a 5th year teacher Coach Luellen, thinks there is nothing better than the curiosity and enthusiasm that each student exudes. She looks forward to using her 11 years of experience working in education to have another productive and successful year with all students at Ser Ninos Charter school.
